TWITTER IS THINKING OF REMOVING VERIFICATION BADGE FROM SOME TWITTER ACCOUNTS.
Looks like some twitter users are misbehaving.

For Twitter to say it wants to remove the verification badge from an account, it means the owner of the account must have violated the social network's terms of service.
Twitter is changing its policy on verified accounts a week after a review of its policy revealed that white supremacist and neo-Nazi leaders had received verification of their accounts.
The blue verification badge, which I thought was only for famous people, was actually created by Twitter to vouch for the authenticity of content from politicians, celebrities and journalists, and to distinguish it from parody accounts.
"We're working on a new authentication and verification program. In the meantime, we're not accepting any public submissions for verification and have introduced new guidelines for the program, "a tweet from Twitter said.
"We are conducting an initial review of verified accounts and will remove verification from accounts whose behavior does not fall withing these new guidelines",Twitter said.
Since there are new rules of thumb for the verification of accounts, I guess not all celebrities and even politicians will have their accounts verified.
Shattawale , watch out.
