SONY JUST ANNOUNCED A NEW AIBO ROBOT DOG.
Rumors of the return of AIBO are true.Well...should we say Aony's iconic robot pet was in exile for more than 10 years now?
Yeah we should.😏
I think I once had a toy like this🤔

Well...Sony has taken an active attempt and succeeded(apparently) in resurrecting its iconic robot pet brand with a brand new model called 'AIBO'(model number ERS-1000).
Sony claims the new Aibo can form an emotional bond with members of your household while providing them with affection, love and the joy of raising a companion. This dog is supposed to be like a real dog??.So...it uses ultra-compact actuators that allow its body to move along 22 axes, and its eyes use two OLED panels to show a range of expressions.Battery life...around two hours, with a three-hour recharge time.
According to Sony,Aibo's behavior is 'adaptable' ,with the dog seeking out owners and learning what makes them happy while gradually getting used to its surroundings.Deep learning technology is used to analyze the sounds and images coming through Aibo's array of sensors and uses cloud data to learn from the experience of other Aibo Units and owners.
There's an Aibo application used to access settings, view photos taken from the dogs camera, and download additional 'tricks' from a store.Haha...Aibo even requires a subscription ,running about $26 a month for a minimum of three years. This gives you acess to WiFi and LTE ,cloud backup and access to the app's features.
This 'robot dog' is available to preorder in Japan and will go on sale on January 11th, 2018.Aside the compulsory subscription,it costs about $1700.
What are your thoughts?? Would you get this 'robot companion' for $1700?
I say...dont waste your money ma,save that money and get a mammal.🤣
I'd never buy this..lol.
