MOBILE: HOW TO HIDE FILES ON YOUR PHONE.

DO YOU KNOW YOU CAN HIDE FILES ON YOUR PHONE?

      
Yeah...we've all been in situations when we don't want people tampering with or even seeing some things on our phones...Well...there's a way you can hide any file at all on your phone so not everyone can access it (except those who know this😒).


So...you downloaded a movie...a movie you probably don't want to share,or you don't want anyone to see before you watch it...your friend now wants to use your phone at that moment... Want to know how to keep the movie/picture/file so he doesn't see it when he collects your phone?
Knowledge is Power...It's simple.☺

So ... Here's how it's done:

1. First of all...you must know where the file is located in your file manager.In this case...let's say it's a movie.Long press the movie in your Gallery...Check Details to know the location of the File in the File Manager.

Know the location from the Gallery.

2. Now you know the location right? Go       to your File Manager and locate it.

3.After locating the file in the file                 manager, Simply create               another Folder. When naming the         Created folder,there should be a "."     before the first letter. Like this:

    

Notice the "." before the H.
When there's a dot before the first letter of a file...the File will be hidden.

3. So...after creating the                                  folder(".Hidden"...in this case).Move        the file which you want to hide into        the created folder.
           

The video has been moved into the ".Hidden" folder.

4.  Now...the video,"The Giver" can no           longer be seen in the Gallery.But it           can be seen in the File Manager.(Just       in case your friend plays smart).To         hide the folder in the File                           Manager...simply click the three dots       in the top right corner and "hide               hidden files".

               

DONE!

Now..no one can see the file(except the person is aware of this).

Now...the video/file is hidden both on the Gallery and in the File Manager.To hide more stuff...just move them to the ".Hidden" folder or any other folder with the "." before it's first letter.

This trick has actually been helping me for a long time now.☺
